In a remarkable tale, like something out of fiction, two babies were dropped off at The Phoenix House yesterday with no identification! Healer Penelope Weasley is quoted as saying, “I believe the babies to have been no more than a few hours old when they were dropped off. We would really like to find their family.”
She has contacted The Daily Prophet in hopes that someone might be able to tell the orphanage who the babies are. If you have any information, please owl Penelope Weasley at The Phoenix House or Susan Bones at Hogwarts.

Just when you think he is dead and buried The-Boy-Who-Lived, otherwise known as Harry James Potter storms back into the public eye. Just the past week it was reported here in the pages of The Daily Prophet that Mr. Potter had met his end during an attempted coup at the Gringotts Wizarding Bank.

Inside sources have revealed that a power struggle has erupted among the goblins at Gringotts. According to exclusive Daily Prophet sources on the evening of July 1st renegade goblins of the Flarb clan made a bid to seize control in a surprise attack.
Sources confirm that wizards were involved in the battle, although the identity of none save Harry Potter can be confirmed. Reports indicate that Potter tumbled down the central chasm of the bank and plummeted for nearly a kilometre. While the body has yet to be recovered most agree there is no way anyone could survive such a fall.

This morning Magical Britain awakes to a world much different that the one in which we went to bed in last night. Yesterday we were a country at peace. This morning we are a country under siege. While details are still sketchy and being suppressed by the Ministry The Daily Prophet has learned that at least ten simultaneous attacks occurred across the two isles last night.

Today during a press conference Junior Secretary Percy Weasley of the Minister’s Office confirmed that there was an attack upon the wizarding prison on Saturday. According to Mr. Weasley the attackers were most likely a small group of minor rogue Death Eaters supported by a massed group of Inferi.

While details are sketchy at this time it has come to the attention of The Daily Prophet that the Ministry’s prison fortress of Azkaban suffered a major attack around midday Saturday.
No one from the Ministry is willing to comment on the incident, but superior investigation by our crack staff has revealed that there was apparently a major battle and that there is only one reported survivor.

Your Daily Prophet reporter has discovered that the MLE Hit-Wizards, Ronald Weasley and Justin Finch-Fletchley, who were reported victims of the unforgivable Killing Curse, Avada Kedavra, are indeed alive. Sources that this reporter is not at liberty to name have confirmed that Weasley and Finch-Fletchly are currently in the Intensive Care Unit at St Mungos and are likely permanantly brain damaged as well as spell damaged. We are unable to get a statement from any medical personnel at St Mungos at this time but it is being reported that a close friend, who wished to remain anonymous, said she was thrown from the room of misters Finch-Fletchley and Weasley when she tried to visit by none other than ex-girlfriend of Hit-Wizard Finch-Flechley, Susan Bones. In a surprise move, the Carrows’ family asked for a private trial for Mr. Ryan Carrows in the matter of the attack on Ginny Weasley. The family commented to the press that they did not want to put their son through more than he had already been and we, of the press, want to respect their wishes. Madame Clayton of the Wizengamot was the overseer for the trial and ruled that Mr. Carrows was guilty of attempted rape, assault and battery. She has sentenced him to four years in Azkaban. This reporter would like to ask when the public outcry of this injustice will be enough to finally ensure the innocent are no longer punished. |

Breaking News! Ryan Carrows, Curse Breaker for Gringotts and member of the old, wealthy, purebloods, The Carrows’ Family, goes to trial today. Carrows was accused of kidnapping and the attempted rape of Ginny Weasley. Miss Weasley and her family has been unavailable for comment but a representative of The Carrows’ Family has assured this Daily Prophet reporter that they believe justice will be served and that the true perpetrator of the alleged attack will be caught. A former classmate of Miss Weasley did have this to say, “It would not surprise me if she used the attack to cover up an affair. Ginny would do anything to keep Harry Potter and this would be just another instance in a long string of them.” Another friend of Miss Weasley’s, who refused to comment at first, later told this reporter that, “She is devastated! Can’t you just leave her alone?” Whatever Miss Weasley’s mental state, remains to be seen as Miss Weasley has not been in public since the attack and apparently she has not even seen her family since the attack. So where is Miss Weasley? Will she be called in to testify at the trial? Is this all an elaborate cover up for indiscretions on her part or a ruse plotted by Harry Potter to cover up the abuse of his fiancé? Is Miss Weasley the victim or the criminal? Hopefully the public will have that answer soon. |

By Agnes Athelby BREAKING NEWS! Ginevra Weasley, fiancée to our own Harry Potter was reported to have shown up at the Ministry of Magic yesterday in disarray. She was then purportedly rushed from the Ministry to St. Mungo’s. While we don’t have confirmation on her condition, one witness said that she was “beaten about the face”. Could Potter have had something to do with this? Later charges were filed against one Ryan Carrows who was brought into the Ministry for questioning on Miss Weasley’s condition. This reporter has been able to ascertain what he is being arrested for, in this Daily Prophet exclusive. Mr. Carrows is being charged with “Drugging, kidnap, assault, battery and the attempted rape of Miss Weasley”. This reporter can only hope that they have the right man and that it isn’t another ploy by Mr. Potter to turn the spotlight away from his own misdeeds. |

Reyes and Garcia Wed Diego Reyes, son of the wealthy and well-respected Abraham Reyes, wed Isabel Garcia, daughter of Jorge Garcia, high ranking Spanish Ministry official. The wedding brings the merger of two very powerful Spanish families. Apparently, both families have been anticipating the merger for years. A source close to the Garcia family admitted that the marriage was arranged on Isabel’s eleventh birthday. The source later clarified that the newlyweds couldn’t be happier about the situation. Isabel celebrated her seventeenth birthday in December. |
