Junior Undersecretary Found Murdered
According to confirmed reports from both Ministry officials and officials at St. Mungo's, Junior Undersecretary Percival Weasley was found dead in his flat Saturday evening by his wife, Penelope Weasley.

Mrs. Weasley's whereabouts at this time are unknown, so she is unavailable for comment. According to the reports that have been released, Mr. Weasley's life was not ended with a simple Avada Kedavra spell as his body was badly damaged.

Mr. Weasley is survived by his wife, Penelope Weasley, a son, Andrew, his parents, Molly and Arthur, four brothers; Bill, Fred and George, Ron, and a sister, Ginny.

Officials are not releasing any information as to who might have committed this heinous crime against this Ministry official.

I have overheard several people stating that they saw Penny meeting with Molly and Ginny Weasley before the birth of Andrew. No one knows the reason for this meeting, but perhaps it may be linked to the reason for his death. It may be possible that Penelope was trying to bridge the gap between her husband and his family, and some opportunist seized the chance to hit the family when it would hurt the most.

Could it be that there was more bad blood in the family than was publically visible? I wouldn't be surprised. After all, Mr. Weasley didn't make any secret about the fact that he disproved of his family's support of Mr. Harry Potter. I don't believe that they were the ones who killed him, but perhaps the family might know more than they are letting on.

Funeral arrangements are not available as of yet, as the body will need to be held pending the completion of the murder investigation. When arrangements are made, we will update this story.
