Potter Dead?

Inside sources have revealed that a power struggle has erupted among the goblins at Gringotts. According to exclusive Daily Prophet sources on the evening of July 1st renegade goblins of the Flarb clan made a bid to seize control in a surprise attack.

Sources confirm that wizards were involved in the battle, although the identity of none save Harry Potter can be confirmed. Reports indicate that Potter tumbled down the central chasm of the bank and plummeted for nearly a kilometre. While the body has yet to be recovered most agree there is no way anyone could survive such a fall.

Another question that needs to be answered is what exactly Potter was doing in the Bank. Records show that he wasn’t there by accident accessing his vaults, so his presence wasn’t for legitimate reasons. So why was he there? Was he once again seeking fame, glory, and adoration again. Time and time again Mr. Potter has shown little regard for his own safety or those near him if there is a chance to build upon his undeserved reputation as a hero.

Other sources point to a more nefarious reason for Potter to be caught in the middle of the rebellion. He himself was leading the forces of the Flarb clan in some insidious plot to take control of the Wizarding Economy.

It has been speculated by many experts for years that Potter, much like his late mentor Albus Dumbledore seeks to influence and control much of the doings of the Ministry of Magic and Wizarding World at large. These same experts claim that the combination of Potter’s need for attention combined with his need for control can and will combine and result in Potter setting himself up as the undisputed ruler over all of our world. Given this possibility this reporter is finding it hard to mourn the passing of the next potential Dark Lord.
